Bush Again Demands Israeli Withdrawal Without Delay

U.S. President George W. Bush on Monday repeated his demand for the Israeli withdrawal from Palestinian territories "without delay," stressing that he meant what he said.

U.S. President George W. Bush on Monday repeated his demand for the Israeli withdrawal from Palestinian territories "without delay," stressing that he meant what he said.

"I meant what I said to the prime minister of Israel. I expect there to be withdrawal without delay," Bush told reporters during a trip to Knoxville, Tennessee.

"And I also mean what I said to the Arab world, that in order for the peace, nations must stand up, leaders must stand up and condemn terrorism and terrorist activity," Bush said.

He noted that there is a mutual responsibility to achieve peaceand it is going to require leadership on both sides, and the United States is "firmly committed to achieving peace" in the Middle East.
