Chinese Company to 'Pay' for World Cup Goals
A Chinese company will donate 100,000 yuan (12,000 U.S. dollars) to the China Youth Soccer Fund for each goal scored by the Chinese men's soccer team in the 2002 World Cup finals.

Midea Group, a home appliances manufacturer based in Guangdong province, South China, told a press conference Monday that the goals they would like to "pay" for don't include shoot-out goals after 120 minutes of regulation and extra time.
Shoot-out may occur from the second round upwards in the World Cup finals.
Still donate RMB80,000 yuan if China score none
The company said they will still donate 80,000 yuan (9,600 U.S.dollars) to the Fund if China score none in their World Cup campaign.
China, led by "Wonder Worker" Bora Milutinovic of Yugoslavia, qualified for the World Cup finals for the first time after 44 years of trying, and they are drawn in Group C with Brazil, Costa Rica and Turkey.
