HKSAR Passport Holders Granted Visa-Free Access to Andorra

The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) government announced Monday that HKSAR passport holders were granted visa-free access to Andorra.

The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) government announced Monday that HKSAR passport holders were granted visa-free access to Andorra.

A government spokesman said that the confirmation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Andorra was received that Andorra has granted visa-free access to HKSAR passport holders for visits up to three months with immediate effect.

"We warmly welcome this confirmation by the Government of Andorra. The visa-free grant marks a vote of confidence by Andorrain our immigration control under the 'one country, two systems' arrangement," the spokesman said.

"This is a further achievement in our efforts to enhance travelconvenience for HKSAR passport holders," the spokesman added.

The availability of visa-free access to Andorra has brought to 109 the total number of countries and regions agreeing to grant visa-free access to HKSAR passport holders.

Currently, nationals of Andorra may visit Hong Kong visa-free for a stay up to three months.
