Iran Strongly Condemns Israeli Atrocities Against Palestinians
The Iranian cabinet headed by President Mohammad Khatami on Wednesday strongly condemned the Israeli atrocities against Palestinians and voiced support for the liberation of Palestine.
The Iranian cabinet headed by President Mohammad Khatami on Wednesday strongly condemned the Israeli atrocities against Palestinians and voiced support for the liberation of Palestine.
In a communique issued after the cabinet meeting, Iranian ministers called on peace loving nations to take stance against Israel's tough military actions against Palestinians.
"What is going on in Palestine is a human tragedy. All the freedom and peace loving people across the globe are required to take a decisive stance in this respect," said the communique.
Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Hamid Reza Asefi on Wednesday deplored the continuation of the Israeli military actions against holy places of Muslims and Christians in Bethlehem in the West Bank.
Asefi said that the attacks are considered as "a war against all religions."
He called on the international community to adopt urgent and effective measures to stop the Israeli violence against the Palestinians people.
