Chinese Vice-President Inspects Guangxi

Chinese Vice-President Hu Jintao made an inspection tour to the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region insouth China between March 29 and April 3.

Chinese Vice-President Hu Jintao made an inspection tour to the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region insouth China between March 29 and April 3.

During the tour, Hu called on local Party and government officials to emancipate the mind and work hard to accelerate the region's development.

He said that Guangxi has great potential in development as it is a border coastal region and rich in resources.

He proposed the region adjust its economic structure and develop its economy in accordance with local conditions.

During his tour, he visited factories, harbors, border entry-exit ports and urban and rural households.
