Beijing Guo'an Tied with Qingdao in Chinese Soccer League

In a battle for the lead of the Chinese first division soccer league played on Sunday, Beijing Guo'an were held by Qingdao Yizhong to a 1-1 draw in Qingdao, having to share the top position with Qingdao and Shanghai Zhongyuan.

In a battle for the lead of the Chinese first division soccer league played on Sunday, Beijing Guo'an were held by Qingdao Yizhong to a 1-1 draw in Qingdao, having to share the top position with Qingdao and Shanghai Zhongyuan.

The visiting Guo'an took a quick lead with a header by Yugoslavian player Tanic Miodrag in the 5th minute.

Qingdao wasted six dangerous score attempts before they found the net in the 29th minute as Croatian Dragan Vukoja slid in with a long pass.

Zhongyuan vs Luneng: 3-1
Both teams now accumulated eight points after four rounds while Shanghai Zhongyuan moved to the top position with a clear-cut 3-1 victory over Shandong Luneng.

Abdoulaye Mbaye played a hat-trick in the 20th, 32nd and 59th minutes though Zhongyuan suffered an early 1-0 setback when Eric Yakhimovich opened the scoring for Luneng in the seventh minute.

Other Results
In other fourth round matches, Yunnan Hongta beat Shenzhen Kejian 2-1, Sichuan Dahe lost to Dalian Shide 3-2, Shanghai Shenhua edged Shenyang Jinde 2-1 and Bayi Zhenbang lost to TianjinTaida 1-0.

The match between Chongqing Lifan and Sha'anxi Guoli has been postponed to April 10 because Lifan's involvement in the Asian Cup Winners' Cup in Doha, Qatar. Lifan lost to South Korea's Chonbuk Hyundai 2-0 in the semi-finals and eventually won the third place of the tournament.
