China Urges Israel, Palestine to Stop Using Force

China Friday strongly urges Israel and Palestine to keep the utmost restraint and immediately stop all acts of force to avoid overall confrontation.

China Friday strongly urges Israel and Palestine to keep the utmost restraint and immediately stop all acts of force to avoid overall confrontation.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Zhang Qiyue said that the Israeli-Palestinian conflict has intensified abruptly, and the situation in the Middle East has been deteriorated. The Chinese government is seriously concerned and worried about it.

She said that China has reaffirmed many times that using violence to confront violence could not settle any problem, but only stir up more hatred instead.

Zhang said the international community should take emergency measures to urge the two sides to be back to the negotiation table,and China is willing to work with all parties concerned to make continued efforts for this purpose.
