Premier Zhu sends letter for congratulation
Following is the congratulatory letter by Premier Zhu to the Seminar:
On the occasion of the opening of the Sino-ROK Economic Seminar I would like to extend may warm congratulation on it.
In a situation in which the economic globalization is surging ahead and the world economy is facing new challenges, it is of great significance to hold a seminar of suchlike by the economic and journalistic circles of the two countries to discuss and exchange ideas on deepening the mutual understanding, promoting bilateral trade ties and pushing the two countries' cooperation to a new high.
This year marks the tenth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the Republic of Korea. The two countries have experienced a good relationship and rapid development over the past 10 years. Complementary to each other, the two sides have great potentials for cooperation in trade, investment and financial fields. With the slowdown in world economy, the two countries have to further explore and expand the cooperation in every field, which is in line with the people's interests of the two countries and conducive to the peace and development in Asia and the world.
I sincerely wish that the seminar would open up a wider path for the economic cooperation and contribute more to the development of the two countries.
