Six-time defending champion Bayi Rockets and Shandong Flaming Bulls advanced into the final four of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) after defeating their opponents, respectively, on Sunday.

Bayi won for the first time in Suzhou, home court of the Sina Lions, as it triumphed 136-104. The military team won the best-of- five series by 3-1.
The visiting Bayi stamped the victory even before the break, leading 72-47, as the Lions failed to find its attacking power from outside.
Shandong Flaming Bulls edged off Beijing Ducks by 102-97 at home in Jinan, Shandong Province. Power forward Gong Xiaobin scored 33 points and grabbed nine rebounds.
Zhejiang Cyclones needed two overtime to oust Jilin Northeast Tigers, 125-118. The two teams tied the series by 2-2 with the decisive game to be played in Changchun, Jilin Province, on Wednesday.
The winner of the match-up will meet Shanghai Sharks, who had advanced earlier on Friday with a 3-0 sweep of Guangdong Hongyuan. And the Bayi Rockets will face Shandong in the other semi-finals.
