David Wolf, the former Utah Jazz, scored eight points, grabed seven rebounds and made three steals in 24 minutes on his first spell for the Sharks.
Center Yao Ming led Sharks with 25 points and 17 rebounds as six of the home team had two-digit scores, while Guangdong's forward Zhu Fangyu had a game-high 29 points.
The other three match-ups ended up on the same 2-1 scorelines as all the home teams won Friday's matches.
Bayi Rockets beat Sina Lions 126-123 in Ningbo, while Jilin Northeast Tigers defeated Zhejiang Cyclones in Changchun, with the winners leading 2-1 in the best-of-five first-round ties of the postseason.
Beijing Ducks pulled one back at home with a 113-107 win, but Shandong Flaming Bulls led the tie at 2-1 with the fourth match to be played in Shandong home court on Sunday.
