Zhejiang Supports Shanghai's 2010 World Expo Bid
The 46 million people of Zhejiang Province, located in eastern China and adjacent to Shanghai, fully supported Shanghai's bid to host the 2010 World Expo Friday, a senior Zhejiang official said Friday in Hangzhou.

Zhejiang Vice-Governor Wang Yongming expressed the support at a meeting with a delegation of the Bureau of International Exhibitions (BIE).
The delegation, led by Carmen Sylvain, BIE vice-president and chairperson of the BIE executive committee, was making an inspection tour of this capital of Zhejiang.
Wang said that Shanghai and Zhejiang are interdependent in the economic and cultural fields, tourism in particular. The success of the Shanghai 2010 World Expo bid would also promote economic and cultural development in Zhejiang, he said.
