China Condemns Israel's Massive Invasion in the Palestinian Region

China condemns the Israeli army's massive invasion into the Palestinian-controlled region, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Zhang Qiyue said Thursday.

China condemns the Israeli army's massive invasion into the Palestinian-controlled region, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Zhang Qiyue said Thursday.

China "was shocked" by such invasion, Zhang told a regular press conference when asked to comment on the escalating Israel-Palestine conflicts, which have caused heavy casualties and grave property losses in recent days.

The Chinese side considers that Israel's actions will lead to no solution but further deterioration of the situation, Zhang said.

The Chinese government urges the Israeli government to cooperate with the peace-promoting efforts from the international community, immediately stop its military actions against Palestine, resume talks with Palestine at an early date so as to solve the conflicts by peaceful means, Zhang said.
