US Military Helicopter Crashes in Mediterranean

A helicopter of the U.S. 6th Fleet crashed in the international waters of the Mediterranean Sea about 100 nautical miles west of the Peloponnese coast on Tuesday.

A helicopter of the U.S. 6th Fleet crashed in the international waters of the Mediterranean Sea about 100 nautical miles west of the Peloponnese coast on Tuesday.

According to the reports reaching here, the helicopter with a three-member crew on board crashed during a routing flight.

Two Greek C-130 aircraft and a "Super Puma" helicopter were participating in the ongoing search operations in addition to two U.S. helicopters, an aircraft and a U.S. navy vessel.
