Four Myanmar High-Ranking Officials Under Investigation for Coup Attempt
Three high-ranking military officials and one police official are under investigation by the Myanmar government in connection with the failed coup attempt on March 7 made by former president U Ne Win's Son-in-law U Aye Zaw Win and three grandsons Aye Ne Win, Kyaw Ne Win and Zwe Ne Win, a high-ranking military intelligence official told reporters here Tuesday afternoon at a special press conference.

The four, suspected of being involved in the conspiracy, are Commander-in-Chief (Air) Major-General Myint Swe, Triangle Region Commander Brigadier-General Chit Than, Coastal Region Commander Major-General Aye Kyway and Director-General of the Myanmar Police Force Major-General Soe Win, disclosed Vice-Chief of the Military Intelligence Major-General Kyaw Win.
