  • ASEAN lecture

The ASEAN Lecture series was launched in 2000 as the NUS(National University of Singapore)'s contribution to the new ASEAN vision for the millennium "as a concert of Southeast Asian nations, outward looking, living in peace, stability and prosperity, bonded together in partnership in dynamic development and in a community of caring societies". This series will give the University community and the general public the opportunity to listen to the views and experiences of eminent and distinguished leaders from the ASEAN countries. This sharing of experiences will help promote a greater understanding of each ASEAN country and of ASEAN as a grouping, raising the awareness of ASEAN issues in Singapore and around the region.
