Sunday's major agenda for the fifth sessions of the Ninth National People's Congress (NPC) and the Ninth National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) are as follows:

CPPCC:

-- The opening of the session in the afternoon;

-- To hear a report on the work of the CPPCC National Committee by CPPCC National Committee Vice-chairman Ye Xuanping;

-- To hear a report on the work on proposals raised by members of the Ninth CPPCC National Committee by CPPCC National Committee Vice-chairman Wan Guoquan.
