Israeli army has withdrawn its tanks from the headquarters of Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat in the West Bank city of Ramallah, witnesses reported Monday.
Israeli army has withdrawn its tanks from the headquarters of Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat in the West Bank city of Ramallah, witnesses reported Monday.
The pullout followed the decision by the Israeli security cabinet to allow Arafat to leave his compound, but not the city.
Arafat had been confined to his Ramallah compound by Israeli tanks since early last December.
