Jiang Calls French President
Chinese President Jiang Zemin made a telephone call to French President Jacques Chirac Saturday afternoon, briefing him on the visit to China by U.S. President George W. Bush. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Jiang exchanged views with Chirac on bilateral ties and international issues of common concern.
