China Wins Two More Olympic Silvers

China won two more silvers in women's 3,000m short track speed skating relay and men's 1,500m short-track speed skating in the 2002 Winter Olympic Games at the Salt Lake Ice Center.

Chinese Team Won The Silver of Women's 3,000M Relay
China won the silver in Women's 3,000m Short Track Speed Skating Relay.

Result:

South Korea (Choi Eun-Kyung, Choi Min-Kyung, Joo Min-jin, Park Hye-won), four minutes 12.793 seconds (world record)

China (Sun Dandan, Wang Chunlu, Yang Yang (A), Yang Yang (S)), 4:13.236

Canada (Isabelle Charest, Marie-Eve Drolet, Amelie Goulet-Nadon, Alanna Kraus), 4:15.738

After South Korean Kim Dong-Sung being disqualified, American Apolo Anton Ohnotook the men's 1,500m short-track speed skating gold medal in the 2002 Winter Olympic Games at the Salt Lake Ice Center Wednesday evening. China's Li Jiajun had the silver in 2:18.731 and Canadian Marc Gagnon finished third in 2:18.806.

Ohno clocked in 2:18.541 for the gold.

South Korean Kim was clearly disappointed for the judging as hehas already been skating for his victorious lap when the unexpected decision of disqualification was announced to the cheers of the local fans.
