U.S. President Bush Arrives for Welcome Ceremony

Visiting U.S. President George W. Bush arrived at the north gate of the Great Hall of the People at 11:00 am Thursday, where he was greeted by Chinese President Jiang Zemin.

Visiting U.S. President George W. Bush arrived at the north gate of the Great Hall of the People at 11:00 am Thursday, where he was greeted by Chinese President Jiang Zemin.

Jiang will host a welcome ceremony in Bush's honor at the hall.

Bush came to the Great Hall of the People in the heart of Beijing right after his arrival in the Chinese capital earlier Thursday morning.
