Palestinian Security Arrests Collaborator With Israel
The Palestinian National Authority(PNA) preventive security in the Gaza Strip has arrested a Palestinian suspected to be a collaborator with Israel, a security official said Monday.

The security official, who spoke in condition of anonymity, said the detainee, a resident of southern Gaza, had confessed that he was supplying the Israeli intelligence with information on movementof Palestinian militants.
The collaborator helped Israeli army helicopters in locating where Palestinian militants were, before helicopters fired missilesat them, said the official.
After his confession, the man would be soon taken to a PNA courtand sued for being a collaborator with Israel, the official added without identifying him.
Palestinians demonstrated in southern Gaza on Sunday calling upon the PNA to arrest and execute Palestinian collaborators with Israel.
Last year, the PNA executed two collaborators who had been foundto help the Israeli intelligence in assassinating several Palestinian militants in Gaza City and the West Bank town of Nablus.
Since the beginning of the Palestinian intifada, or uprising, inlate September 2000, Israel have killed dozens of Palestinian militants in the so-called "liquidation" operations in the West Bank and Gaza.
