HK Chief Executive Visits Lunar New Year Fair

Hong Kong Chief Executive Tung Chee Hwa late Monday evening visited a Lunar New Year fair in Victoria Park to celebrate the festival with local residents.

Hong Kong Chief Executive Tung Chee Hwa late Monday evening visited a Lunar New Year fair in Victoria Park to celebrate the festival with local residents.

Accompanied by his wife, Tung came to the fair to buy some flowers for his wife, and he also extended the Lunar New Year greetings to local people at this special occasion.

On Monday, Tung also delivered a Lunar New Year message to all Hong Kong citizens, encouraging them to face challenges with confidence and apply themselves fully to accomplish a brighter future.

He said that Hong Kong's confidence stems from its unique advantages such as its strategic location, business-friendly environment, well established pool of professional services and talents, and the rapid development of the motherland.
