Foundation Established to Protect Environment
"Blue Sea", a new foundation was established in Beijing Wednesday, by the China Environmental Protection Foundation (CEPF) and China Charity Federation (CCF).

CCF honorary president Yan Mingfu, and secretary-general of the CEPF Xu Qinghua will be the foundation directors.
The foundation was launched to help environmental protection in China.
The foundation will invite experts in financing and environmental protection to join its projects. Charity performances will be held around the Bohai, to promote the central government's program of cleaning the heavily polluted Bohai.
The Bohai, the sea passage for the China's northern provinces and themaritime waterway to the nation's capital, Beijing. It is the smallest of China's seas -- 300 nauticalmiles long from northeast to southwest and 187 nautical miles wide fromwest to east, covering an area of 77,000 sq km.
