The England Premiership's Stockport team Monday said that it will enlist a 16-year-old Chinese player Zhang Xiabin from Shaanxi Guoli team this week.

A marketing director from the Stockport team said that altogether 25 young Chinese players have received a 9-week-long training in the team in last October and November. And Zhang Xiabin, one of the 25 players, was selected in the training.

All the young players played very well during their training in Stockport, especially the two of them, one being Zhang Xiabin and another Yao Haining, also 16-year-old player from China's Wuhan Hongtao (Hearts) K team, said the director. And we will consider introducing other Chinese players according to Zhang Xiabin's performance. We hope that the Chinese players will be able to join China's national soccer team after their training in Stockport, the director added.
