Indian army Friday denied reports of 200 to 300 missiles being fired by Pakistani troops on Poonch town in Jammu and Kashmir.

Indian army Friday denied reports of 200 to 300 missiles being fired by Pakistani troops on Poonch town in Jammu and Kashmir.

An army spokesman said, "Media reports that 200-300 missiles have been fired by Pakistan in Poonch town where" are "incorrect."

It has been clarified that Pakistani had resorted to routine cross border firing in Poonch sector on January 31, he said, but it was only restricted to areas close to the Line of Control.
