189 People Arrested for Making Counterfeit Certificates

The Beijing railway police have arrested 189 people involved in making and selling counterfeit certificates, and have confiscated more than 2,160 counterfeit certificates and equipment for making the "certificates."

The Beijing railway police have arrested 189 people involved in making and selling counterfeit certificates, and have confiscated more than 2,160 counterfeit certificates and equipment for making the "certificates."

After 8 days' concerted effort beginning January 20, the police uncovered two criminal groups involved in making counterfeit certificates in a Beijing suburb. Counterfeit railway tickets, seals, student identity cards and invoices were confiscated.

Further investigations are being carried out.
