China Red Cross Extends Aid to Poor

The Red Cross Society of China launched a project Thursday to extend aid to the poor.

The Red Cross Society of China launched a project Thursday to extend aid to the poor.

A local pharmaceutical company donated materials worth two million yuan (240,000 U.S. dollars) to help poor people in nine cities and provinces, including Beijing.

Red Cross administrations at all levels will distribute the donations before the Chinese traditional Spring Festival, which falls on February 12 this year.
