Center Zhang Weigang had a game-high 26 points and 18 rebounds to lead Zhejiang, who vaulted from the ninth place to the sixth after the win. Zhang also had eight blocks.
Two Americans, God Shammgod and Adebayo Ankinkule, both have played in America's National Basketball Association before, added 22 and 15 points for the home team.
Shandong, who stood at the third place, was led by veteran forward Gong Xiaobin, who scored 24 points.
