Chow Yun Fat Voted Top at Madame Tussaud's Hong Kong

Chow Yun Fat, who starred at the Oscar-award movie Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, has been voted as the most preferred male celebrity to be cast in wax by Madame Tussaud's Hong Kong this year.

Chow Yun Fat, who starred at the Oscar-award movie Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, has been voted as the most preferred male celebrity to be cast in wax by Madame Tussaud's Hong Kong this year.

Canton-pop star Andy Lau took top spot as the "most desirable celebrity to be stranded on a deserted island with," followed closely by action hero Jackie Chan, according to the results of the museum's first annual popularity poll announced earlier this week.

Princess Diana, despite having passed away four years ago, camein third, with England soccer captain David Beckham and local singer Faye Wong coming in fourth and fifth respectively.

The poll was conducted with over 500 respondents who either accessed the poll through the Madame Tussaud's Hong Kong web site or while visiting the museum, the first permanent Madame Tussaud'sin Asia.
