US President George W. Bush will visit Japan, South Korea and China next month to discuss the US-led war on terrorism, economic recovery and other bilateral issues, the White House said on Friday.
Spokesman Ari Fleischer said Bush would leave Washington on February 16, spend February 18-19 in Tokyo, February 19-20 in Seoul and February 21-22 in Beijing.
The visits originally were planned around last year's October 20-21 annual Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in Shanghai but Bush cut short his trip after the Sept. 11 attacks on the United States.
