Li briefed the guests on the organization and operation of the NPC, saying that the contacts between the two parliaments help develop state relations. The Chinese NPC has maintained close contact with the State Great Hural of Mongolia, and encouraged alldepartments of the two countries to launch further cooperation.

Enkhbayar praised the Sino-Mongolian treaty on friendly relations of cooperation signed in 1994 and spoke highly of the contribution Li Peng has made to furthering the Sino-Mongolian friendship.

He said that he has reached consensus with the Chinese leaders during the visit, adding that there is plenty of room for cooperation between the two countries.
