Vietnam Hopes Further Strengthening Vietnam-China Judicial and Procuratorial Coo

General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee Nong Duc Manh expressed his hope that Vietnamese and Chinese judicial and procuratorial departments would further strengthen exchanges and cooperations.

Manh voiced the hope here Friday while meeting with a delegation of the Chinese Supreme People's Procuratorate led by Procurator-General of the Chinese Supreme People's Procuratorate Han Zhubin.

The judicial and procuratorial departments of Vietnam and Chinahave a traditional friendship and cooperation, Manh said, adding that the visit to Vietnam by the delegation of the Chinese SupremePeople's Procuratorate is a vivid demonstration of implementing the principle "long-term stability, looking to the future, neighborly friendship and all-round cooperation" set by party leaders of the countries.

He also said now Vietnam has been conducting a campaign of party consolidation and party building with a focus of anti-corruption and combating waste.

The Vietnamese party leader wished that the judicial and procuratorial departments of the two countries will further promote exchanges and expand cooperation, making new contributionsto the cause of modernization of both countries.

During the meeting, Han Zhubin expressed his hope that his visit to Vietnam will further strengthen friendly exchanges and cooperation between the two countries' judicial and procuratorial organs, contributing to the further development of the neighboringfriendship and comprehensive cooperation between China and Vietnamin the new century.

The delegation of the Chinese Supreme People's Procuratorate arrived here Thursday evening for a five-day visit to Vietnam.
