Dozens of senior officials from 17 countries which will send their peacekeeping force to Afghanistan Wednesday morning arrived in the Capital Kabul.
This reconnaissance party will make preparation for the arrival of the majority of peacekeeping forces which will be centralized until January 15.
The peacekeeping forces will have 4,500 soldiers and their location will be close to U.S. embassy and other parts of Kabul city, an official said.
The majority of Northern Alliance soldiers will go out of the Kabul city and only some of them will stay in limited military areas, Abdullah Abdullah, foreign minister of Afghan interim government, said earlier.
