Fortune Lottery Opened by Chinese Firms in Cambodia

The Shanghai Lottery Center,together with China State Farms Agribusiness Corp. and Shanghai Farms Agribusiness Corp., Monday opened Fortune Lottery, witha total investment of approx. 2.5 million U. S. dollars.

The Shanghai Lottery Center,together with China State Farms Agribusiness Corp. and Shanghai Farms Agribusiness Corp., Monday opened Fortune Lottery, witha total investment of approx. 2.5 million U. S. dollars.

Zhang Yunfeng, general manager of the Fortune Lottery Co. Ltd.,told Xinhua that the operation of lottery, approved by the Ministry of Finance of Cambodia, would return part of the money gained by the business to the Cambodian society so the government supports it.

This is the first lottery market run by computer in Cambodia although there are over ten lottery companies in the country, he said.
