Tung Shares Fun With Children at Xmas Party

Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR) government Tung Chee Hwa and his wife Betty Tung shared the joy and fun of Christmas with some 130 children at a party held at Government House Friday.

The couple host parties every year around Christmas to bring the spirit of the festive season to children from different sectors of the community.

At today's celebration, Mr. and Mrs. Tung joined children from four organizations in an interactive game led by a group of boy scouts. The four organizations are the Thalassaemia Association ofHong Kong, the Hong Kong Family Welfare Society, the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups and the Hong Kong Single Parents Association,

They also sang carols with the children, distributed gifts and candies, and enjoyed the recorder performance of two children fromthe Hong Kong Family Welfare Society.
