Indonesia Minister Expects More Cooperation with China in Energy

Purnomo Yusgiantoro, minister of Indonesia's Energy and Mineral Resources, said during his recent visit in Beijing that Sino-Indonesian cooperation in the energy field is fruitful and promising.

Purnomo Yusgiantoro said that Indonesia derives one fourth of its trade with China from energy and it will continue its cooperation with China.

On the chance of the Indonesia state oil company, Pertamina, which is bidding to become Guangdong's LNG supplier, the minister said that Pertamina had price competitiveness and could provide sufficient resources.
