Shanghai Attracts Chinese Students from Overseas
During the first 11 months of this year, more than 330 Chinese students returned to Shanghai from overseas and started up their own business there, the highest number in recent years.

They had set up 310 enterprises with an accumulated registration capital of more than 60 million US dollars, according to the city's service center for Chinese students who returned from overseas.
Actually, a total of 850 students had completed their return procedure by November, and more are sending inquiry letters on related policies and information about the possibility of making fortunes in the city, according to the service center.
Up to now, Shanghai has absorbed over 26,000 Chinese students from abroad, about one fifth of the national total, to participate in its economic and social construction.
The number of enterprises set up by those students has reached 1,500, accounting for about half of the country's total, and their accumulated registration capital stand at around 300 million US dollars.
