Fixed assets investment in China for the January-November period grew by 16.3 percent to reach 2,116.4 billion yuan.
According to the figures released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) Monday, during the January-November period, the fixed assets investment in infrastructure stood at 1,113.1 billionyuan, a 10.4 percent rise over the same period of last year.
Investment in technological upgrading rose 20.3 percent to 434.1 billion yuan.
Investment in real estate development increased 29.7 percent to485.7 billion yuan.
NBS statistics show that the western region of China continued to lead other parts of the country in terms of investment growth. During January-November, fixed assets investment in the western region amounted to 361.6 billion yuan, increasing 22.3 percent over the same period of last year.
