Guangzhou Province Launches Large News Service Website

A large news service website -- "www.southcn.com", went into operation Thursday in south China' s Guangdong Province.

A large news service website -- "www.southcn.com", went into operation Thursday in south China' s Guangdong Province.

Under the leadership of the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, this new website has been jointly set up by a variety of press groups, publishing houses and cultural administration departments in Guangdong.

Ranking among the top ten news service websites in China, the website will provide the latest social and economic news about Guangdong, which will help people both at home and abroad to be well informed of the situation in Guangdong, the wealthiest province in China.

Providing both Chinese and English services, the new website will be able to provide over 1,000 news items each day, covering areas such as finance, entertainment, education, the property market and tourism.
