Israeli troops shot dead two Palestinians on Friday near the Jewish settlement of Beit Kaheil, northwest of the West Bank town of Hebron, Palestinian and Israeli sources said.

Israeli army sources said that Israeli troops saw the two armed Palestinians near the settlement and immediately opened fire at them, adding that the two people were killed and Israeli soldiers found their bodies with guns.
Palestinian sources in Hebron confirmed that Israeli troops opened fire at Palestinians, killing two of them, adding that the shooting took place on Street 60 under the Israeli army control.
The sources added that the two bodies were still kept by the Israeli army, and the dead were not identified.
Earlier Friday, Israeli troops also killed six Palestinians, four of them Palestinian security officers, during an Israeli military operation into the West Bank town of Salfit.
