Pak President Condemns Attack on Indian Parliament House

Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf Thursday sent a message to Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, strongly condemning the attack on the Parliament House and conveying his deep condolences to the bereaved families.

The message said, " I was shocked to learn about the attack earlier today by armed intruders on the Indian Parliament building in New Delhi. I have been saddened by the loss of life and injuries suffered by Indian security personnel."

Conveying sympathies to the government and people of India as well as deep condolences to the bereaved families, Musharraf said, " My government strongly condemns the attack."
