China Develops Integrated Office Software

Chinese scientists have successfully developed the Evermore office - a world-advanced office software of our own property rights after an endeavor of two years, announced Chinese Academy of Engineering and Jiangsu People's Government December 8.

Evermore Passes Technological Appraisal
As a key achievement, this software has lately passed the joint technological appraisal by Ministry of Information Industry, Chinese Academy of Engineering and Jiangsu people's government. The appraisal committee deems it as a comprehensive integrated office software of our own property rights with its overall technology reached the world advanced level in this field.

Among all application software products, office software is the one of the most extensive use, which can be widely used in politics, military, economy and other fields. In the fierce competition, Microsoft has almost monopolized the office software market.

World's First Integrated Office Software
Under the support of Wuxi Pioneer Park and led by general manager Cao Can, more than 150 researchers and software developers in Wuxi Evermore Software Inc. produced the software and named it Evermore office.

The office software that we are using at present is the one with several independent packages of word-processing, excel and some others, experts said, Evermore software combines several functions into one which is easy to learn, to use and to remember. In this aspect, Evermore office is the world's first integrated office software in its true sense.

According to report, the software will be brought into the market within 3 to 5 months.
