China to Provide Cambodia With Medicines

China and Cambodia signed anexchange of notes Wednesday afternoon in Phnom Penh, under which China willprovide Cambodia with medicines worth RMB seven million Yuan (about 843,000 U.S. dollars).

China and Cambodia signed anexchange of notes Wednesday afternoon in Phnom Penh, under which China willprovide Cambodia with medicines worth RMB seven million Yuan (about 843,000 U.S. dollars).

Under an agreement signed in November 2000 between China and Cambodia, Chinese Ambassador Ning Fukui and Cambodian Minister of Public Health Hong Sunhuot inked the exchange of notes Wednesday afternoon at the Ministry of Public Health.

At the request of the Cambodian Health Ministry, the Chinese side would give the Cambodian side medicines instead of relief materials originally agreed by the both sides.
