Senior CPC Official Meets Finnish Guests

Wei Jianxing, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, met Tuesday with a Finnish delegation headed by Hannele Pokka, governor of Lapland Province, Finland.

Senior CPC Official Meets Finnish Guests
Wei Jianxing, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, met Tuesday with a Finnish delegation headed by Hannele Pokka, governor of Lapland Province, Finland.

Wei, also a member of the CPC Central Committee Secretariat, expressed appreciation for Pokka, who has devoted herself to promoting relations between Lapland and China for a long period oftime.

Wei and Pokka also exchanged views on the Sino-Finnish relations, economic cooperation and other issues of common concern.

The Finnish guests are visiting China at the invitation of the Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs.
