Chinese Premier Meets Foreign Ambassadors
BEIJING, December 4 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Premier Zhu Rongji met with outgoing and incoming foreign ambassadors to China at the Great Hall of the People Tuesday.

Zhu extended his gratitude to the outgoing ambassadors for their efforts in promoting relations between China and the countries they represent.
After welcoming the new ambassadors, Zhu said that the Chinese government will provide every convenience and support for their work during their tenure in China.
Zhu also briefed the ambassadors on China's current economic situation.
The outgoing ambassadors are Soukthavone Keola from the Laos and Azat Martirossian from Armenia.
The new ambassadors are Jose Rafael Serrano Herrera from Ecuador, Joachim Broudre-Groeger from Germany, Benny Pollack Eskenazi from Chile, Tomas Smetanka from Czech Republic, Karim
Ebrahim Al-Shakar from Bahrain, L. Amarsanaa from Mongolia, Salah Hamdi from Tunisia, Madjid Bouguerra from Algeria, Ali Houssam El Din Mahmoud Elhefny from Egypt, Kim Ha-Joong from the Republic of Korea, Themba M. N. Kubheka from South Africa, Khek Lerang from Cambodia, Fereydoun Verdinejad from Iran, Mikhail Borisovich Reznik from Ukraine, U Sein Win Aung from Myanmar, Benjamin Basin from Finland, Kurbanmuhamed Gadjarovich Kasymov from Turkmenistan, Sergio Ley Lopez from Mexico and Juan Carlos Morelli from Argentina.
