Afghan Groups Agree to Form Interim Government: UN Spokesman

All four Afghan groups meeting in Germany have agreed to form an interim government for the war-torn country but have not reached consensus yet on how to share the power, the UN spokesman Ahmad Fawzi's office said in Bonn on Tuesday.

All four Afghan groups meeting in Germany have agreed to form an interim government for the war-torn country but have not reached consensus yet on how to share the power, the UN spokesman Ahmad Fawzi's office said in Bonn on Tuesday.

They have agreed the text on a post-Taliban interim administration, but differences still remain in the lineup of the interim government, the office said.

Further discussion is needed. it added.

Meanwhile, Afghan groups also agree to deployment of international security forces in Kabul.
