Israeli troops seized Gaza International Airport early Tuesday morning and began to destroy the runway, Palestinian security sources said.

Israeli troops seized Gaza International Airport early Tuesday morning and began to destroy the runway, Palestinian security sources said.

Three Israeli tanks and a bulldozer broke into the airport and began to undermine the only runway of the airport, witnesses said.

This is believed to be the first Israeli occupation over the airport since the Palestinian-Israeli conflict broke out last year.

The Israeli army has made no comment on the occupation so far.
