Dalian, Champion in 1994, 1996, 1997, 1998 and 2000, came from behind twice to level the score to 2-2 before Song Lihui netting the winning goal in the 71st minute.
Song opened the goal in the second minute, but Dalian tied the score nine minutes later through Hu Zhaojun. Shandong's W.D. Casiano from Paraguay scored the second goal in the 32nd minute to lead halftime score 2-1.
Dalian levelled the score 2-2 in the 63rd minute after Wang Sheng headed the ball into the net.
Dalian now tops the league standings with 51 points with three more rounds to go, eight points ahead of second-placed Shenzhen Kejian who drew with Shanxi Guoli 1-1 today.
Liaoning Fushun beat Qingdao Beer 2-1 to rank third with 42 points. In this evening, Shanghai Shenhua, runner-up at the Chinese national Games, trounced Chinese Army 1-0 to finish fourth with 41 points.
In other three matches Sunday, Sichuan Shanwutong defeated Yunnan Hongta 1-0, Chongqing Lifan edged Shenyang Jinde 2-0 and Tianjin Taida ousted Beijing Guo'an 2-0.
