Three Companies Join Hands to Promote China's ERP Application
November 29 witnessed China Greatwall Computer company, Germany's SAP Company and American Intel, the three international-celebrated companies announce to form an "information technology and service scheme supply" and cooperate in the ERP field. The three companies signed an ERP solution scheme to help promote Chinese enterprises in setting up ERP memorandum and provide Chinese enterprises with hardware platform, application system and the ERP solution scheme.
ERP is the outcome of modern management conception. By way of network information technology and according to market needs, ERP offers a comprehensive planning, arrangement strict control on each and every link of enterprise internal resources so as to achieve the goal of high efficiency and low cost. ERP system now has become an important component part of enterprises for global competition. In the solution scheme of the three companies, China Great Wall will be in charge of providing a series of application servers based on Intel framework for Chinese customers with Germany's SAP to provide ERP software, technology support and training while Intel responsible for offering hardware products and technological solutions.
China Greatwall Computer Company was the solely state-owned computer enterprise with business ranging from research & development, production, integrated circuit to import and export trade. Germany SAP is the world's largest inter-enterprise software company. Among the world top 500 companies, more than one half of them are using SAP's solutions. So far, SAP is providing services for China's Haier, Legend, Changhong (Rainbow), Shanghai Pudong Development Bank and many other companies with special services covering a market share of some 30 percent.
