Finnish Airlines to Open Helsinki-Hong Kong Route in February

Finland's national carrier Finnair is to open a Helsinki-Hong Kong air route in February although it declared a 5-percent reduction of its flights last week.

Finland's national carrier Finnair is to open a Helsinki-Hong Kong air route in February although it declared a 5-percent reduction of its flights last week.

The route is scheduled to have three flights a week.

Finnair, founded in 1923, is one of the world's oldest airlines. It flies to 50 destinations with a fleet of 60 aircraft and 11,500 employees worldwide. Last year, 7.7 million passengers flew with the carrier.
